Greater area
Agioi Apostoloi, Chania, is a famous seaside resort located 3,5km from the Chania centre and has four “Blue Flag”-awarded beaches, providing different options to visitors to the area. The name comes from the church of the Holy Apostles, which was built on the area’s hill, and it is an excellent point where visitors can enjoy the deep blue of the Cretan Sea and the magnificent sunset.
The area is rich in green and you can walk among parks full of pines, eucalyptus trees, and promenades. The three peninsulas of the area, have created four sandy bays with shallow crystal waters that are ideal for families as they are safe for both adults and children. And to make them even safer, all these fully organized beaches have a lifeguard service.
