Aktaion Restaurant:
Aktaion Restaurant is a large, spacious and soul soothing space set beside Elia Pool Bar and elevated above the swimming pool.

The indoor seating area of Aktaion Restaurant is surrounded by large window panes with views to the beautifully well kept gardens, large trees, blossoming flower bushes and swimming pool. Outdoor seating is shaded by these same trees and enjoying any meal here is a simple pleasure.

At Aktaion Restaurant breakfast (buffet) is available daily from 07h30-10h00 and dinner (buffet) is available daily from 19h00-21h30.

Our buffets feature Greek, Cretan, Mediterranean and international dishes and we remain focused on providing you with the best quality meals, using fresh local produce to enhance the pleasure of your meals.

Lunch is catered for (daily from 12h00-15h00) via a well priced la carte menu with a wide variety of dishes; starters, soups, salads, omelets, pasta dishes, pizzas, traditional specialty dishes, various fish, meat and poultry dishes, cheeses, desserts, refreshments and more.

 

Elia Pool Bar/Café
Enjoy a snack at the Elia Pool Bar/Café while taking in the sound of splashing water from the cascading rock wall fountain and the glistening swimming pool. In this relaxed and casual atmosphere, Elia Pool Bar/Café serves snacks, refreshments, ice-creams, mezedes, cocktails and more.
Here you will also find snooker tables, table tennis, table soccer and electric coin operated games for your enjoyment.
Open daily from 10h00-24h00.

 

Swimming pools & Children's pools:
At Althea Village, there are two impressively large swimming pools, each with a separate shallow section for children.

The main outdoor swimming pool is beside Elia Pool Bar/Café and Aktaion Restaurant and has an exotic cascading rock wall fountain as its backdrop. This swimming pool measures 350 cubic meters with a maximum depth of 1.75 meters. The children's section is 20 sqm with a maximum depth of 0.5 meters.

The second large and uniquely shaped outdoor swimming pool is a fresh water swimming pool, on the other end of Althea Village, decorated by a palm tree in its centre. No chemicals are used for water disinfection. The pool is equipped with a sophisticated electrolysis system which produces oxidants only from salt and is thus free of chemicals.
This swimming pool measures 300 cubic meters with a maximum depth of 1.7 meters. The children's section is 30 sqm with a maximum depth of 0.5 meters.

Both swimming pools have ample spacious grounds with sun loungers, umbrellas, outdoor showers and change rooms for guest use.

Gym
Elevated above the reception area, Althea Village offers its guests the complimentary use of the gym/fitness room. Equipped with a treadmill, stepper, weights, rowing exercise machine and more, this small facility is a convenient treat in staying in shape while on vacation.

 

Children's Playground
Set amongst the well kept gardens, near to Aktaion Restaurant and Elia Pool Bar, the small outdoor children's playground is equipped with swings, slides, a play house, climbing castle and more. The playground is shaded by an impressively large and old olive tree and is most suitable for young children. Apart from being every child's haven, the playground is ideally located as parents can dine while keeping an eye on their little one.
